Challenge of Energy Prices
The Kläger Group, deeply rooted in Hartha for three decades, not only takes the current challenge of energy prices seriously but also sees it as an opportunity to position itself sustainably and environmentally consciously for the future. In times of continuously rising energy prices, the company group is taking proactive measures to steer towards a sustainable, green future.
PV System with Enormous Capacity
The groundbreaking ceremony marked the beginning of the construction of a photovoltaic system on an adjacent property owned by Kläger SPC GmbH & Co. KG. In recent months, preparatory work has already been undertaken, focusing on site leveling for the upcoming installation of the system. With an annual output capacity of up to 1.5 kWh and 2.500 modules covering an area of over 10.000 m2, this solar park will be capable of significantly contributing to the power needs of the high-performance plastic parts production facility through clean solar energy. This innovation aligns with the commitment to make the production process more energetically sustainable, actively contributing to environmental protection.
To properly inaugurate this major project, representatives from all service providers, politicians, and decision-makers were present. In addition to the executive leadership, including Kristian Kläger (CEO) and Achim Windschiegl (COO), and project managers Matthias Fendt and Denny Fuhrmann from the Kläger Group, the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony also involved Ronald Kunze (Mayor of the City of Hartha), Ronald Fischer (Construction Department Head of the City of Hartha), as well as Michéle Rascher (CEO of Timeless Planet) and Maik Schröder (Schröder Construction Planning Office). Together, they ceremonially broke ground to honor this special moment.
Sustainable and Environmentally Conscious
Through this investment in renewable energy sources, the Kläger Group aims not only to reduce its ecological footprint but also to send a clear signal for the preservation of over 100 jobs at the Hartha location. This also reaffirms the long-term commitment to the region and its residents.
“We are convinced that this step will help us meet the challenges of the future with determination and innovation,” confirms Kristian Kläger, CEO and managing partner of Kläger Plastik GmbH and Kläger SPC GmbH & Co. KG. “Our corporate vision envisions maintaining a pioneering role in the sustainable production of technical components from high-performance plastics in the coming years, thereby contributing to a greener, thriving future.
